The CFC Difference 

With our advanced automated aqueous cleaning technology complemented with thermal capabilities, we can ensure optimal performance out of your recovered filter. Using this methodology CFC can typically clean your DPF system and have it back in service within 24-hours. The other guys use cheap ovens to bake your filter exposing it to thermal stress and typically only recover the DPF system to around 60%. CFC can achieve up to 99% recovery of even the most neglected filters and if your filter is beyond recovery, due to a structural failure of the brick or body, we also stock new replacement filters. 

Our Process

Stage 1 Pre-Clean

  • Visual Inspection

  • Wire/Pin test for plugged cells

  • Measure air flow

  • Light test for cracks in the brick

  • Record pre-clean weight

Stage 2 Clean

  • Pre-soak filter in proprietary surfactant

  • Low pressure/High volume CNC wash cycle 

  • Drying cabinet to remove moisture

Stage 3 Post-Clean

  • Inspect post clean

  • Measure airflow

  • Wire/pin test

  • Record post-clean weight

  • Pass/Fail test

              * Heavily contaminated filters that fail will automatically get thermal treatment for a second round of cleaning before the filter is recommended for replacement. This is a last-ditch effort to save your filter and save you money. There is no additional charge. This is the CFC difference!
